What to do with the $$?

We could use it to cook foods for people that have just lost people in their lives

We could use it to serve food through a catering service to spread word about X-ile in the community.

We could use it to buy tons of bottle water and give those out for free.

Of course if there is a family or person that needs the money we could give it to them.

These were a few that we talked about last night. Just add more as they come to you. We can keep checking the news and looking around at the community around us also.

Who would the poor choose?

Here's an interesting question raised by Shane Claiborne in a podcast I was listening to. If a key piece of the Christian mission is to care for the poor (a long-standing mission), who would the poor identify as Christians in the world?
